Presentation of the Performance

The plot of the show is built upon a famous Thracian legend about fairies - mystical creatures, who are transformed into beautiful maidens. With their magic dances and songs they fascinate the strangers, after which they destroy them. As the legend goes, if a fairy betrays her merciless magic nature and falls in love, she will then turn into a common mortal girl, thus exposing herself to great danger… .

The legend tells the story about the beautiful and tragic love that flares up between the Queen of the Fairies Eurydice and the young warrior Orpheus, renowned for his deeds and bravery. He succeeds in winning the heart of the fabulous girl, but their love seems doomed and forbidden. Because of her feelings, Eurydice will have to fight for her life as a mortal, while the young hero will have to overcome the evil forces in order to rescue her through his pure love from the Kingdom of Shadows.

The close friends of the enamoured Eurydice turn into snakes, however, and kill her. The inconsolable Orpheus seeks her in vain. Eager to revenge, he stands up in a grandiose battle against the mystical creatures, in which he gets killed.

When his soul soars up in outer Space, Orpheus finally finds his beloved and their dance transcends into Eternity…

This is a modern fairy-tale about the everlasting battle between Good and Evil, about the strength of love, which goes on beyond all boundaries, about the trials, through which the characters have passed in order to turn into a beautiful legend, that has reached up to the present day…
